The books I want to read in June

This year is going by so fast! I can’t believe it’s already June.

This month I have a couple of really fun things planned. I’m celebrating my birthday (June 8th!) and me & The Boyfriend are going on vacation to Prague. I’m super excited for our city trip. Also we have tickets for a specialty beer festival and.. I’m going shopping for a wedding dress!

Besides all of this, I hope to make some time to read at least six books this month.

Let’s take a look at my June TBR!

The e-ARC’s on my June TBR

Her Name Was Rose – Claire Allen

Published: June 28, 2018 by Avon
Genre: Thriller

Her name was Rose. You watched her die. And her death has created a vacancy.”
I want to start this month with the e-ARC of Her Name Was Rose. I think I will enjoy this psychological thriller.

Beast: A Tale of Love and Revenge – Lisa Jensen

Published: July 10, 2018 by Candlewick Press
Genre: Young Adult / Fantasy

They say Château Beaumont is cursed. But servant-girl Lucie can’t believe such foolishness about handsome Jean-Loup Christian Henri LeNoir, master of the estate.
Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairy tales and I have high expectations of this e-ARC.

So Glad to Meet You – Lisa Super

Published: July 31, 2018 by Diversion Books
Genre: Young Adult / Contemporary

So Glad to Meet You tells the story of two people who, in searching for what they’ve lost, end up finding what they never knew they needed—each other.”
I like the cover and I’m curious about this contemporary young adult novel.

The books on my June TBR

A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J. Maas

Published: 2015 by Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Genre: Fantasy / Young Adult

Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest.”
I’m *a little* late to the party, but I finally got a copy of ACOTAR in May and I plan to read it this month. Curious if this book is going to live up to my expectation of it.

More Than We Can Tell – Brigid Kemmerer

Published: March 2018 by Bloomsbury Children’s
Genre: Young Adult / Contemporary

When Rev and Emma meet, they both long to lift the burden of their secrets and bond instantly over their shared turmoil.”
I received this book in a book subscription box a while ago and I still haven’t read it.. I hope to get to it this month.

Children of Blood and Bone – Tomi Adeyemi

Published: March 2018 by Macmillan Children’s Books
Genre: Fantasy / Young Adult

Zélie Adebola remembers when the soil of Orïsha hummed with magic.”
Speaking of high expectations.. I expect a magical and detailed world of Orisha and wonderful characters.
