The Books I Want to Read in December

December TBR

I can’t believe it’s already the last month of 2018.. This year is going by so fast

In December were celebrating my Boyfriend’s birthday and also the fact that we’ve known each other for 10 years. Also it’s the most wonderful time of the year! I love Christmas. The decorations, the cheesy music, the classic movies, the food.. Just a few more weeks!

Also I plan to read some books in the last few weeks of 2018.

Let’s take a look at the books I want to read in December!

The Crimes of Grindelwald

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald by J.K. Rowling

This second original screenplay from J.K. Rowling, illustrated with stunning line art from MinaLima, expands on earlier events that helped shaped the wizarding world, with some surprising nods to the Harry Potter stories that will delight fans of both the books and films.”

I always love to re-watch the Harry Potter movies in December, because it makes me feel all nostalgic and happy. In November we went to see the new Fantastic Beasts movie and I’m excited to read the screenplay this month!

Christmas Murders

A Very Murderous Christmas

In A Very Murderous Christmas, ten of the best classic crime writers come together to unleash festive havoc, with murder, mayhem and twists aplenty.

I love a good crime story and this book seems perfect for the moth of December!

Murder for Christmas by Francis Duncan

A festive mystery for the holiday season: mulled wine, mince pies… and murder.”

I bought this book in October and it is my first Chirstmas themed novel. I can’t wait to read it! It sounds like a murder mystery story with a festive atmosphere.

Christmas Days

Christmas Days by Jeanette Winterson

For years Jeanette Winterson has loved writing a new story at Christmas time and here she brings together twelve of her brilliantly imaginative, funny and bold tales.

This short story collection sounds very festive and fun to read!
