October Wrap-up

October Wrapup

I love Fall and October was a really nice month. The weather is still very good here and I even got to read outside in my garden on an October day!

Let’s take a look at the books I’ve read and bought in October!

The books I’ve read in October

For October I didn’t make a TBR. I’m not sure why.. But I have a lot of unread books on my shelves and on my e-ARC list, so there were enough amazing novels te choose from.

This month I’ve read 4 books and I’ve finished listening to 2 audiobooks.

The books

Books I've read in October

  • An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good – Helene Tursten (eARC); review
  • Mammoth – Jill Baguchinsky (eARC); review
  • Legendary – Stephanie Garber; review
  • De Jongen in de Sneeuw (The Boy in the Headlights) – Samuel Bjork

The audiobooks

Audiobooks October

  • De Krijtman (The Chalk Man) – C.J. Tudor
  • Hex – Thomas Olde Heuvelt

I love to listen to audiobooks of thrillers! Although I was a bit disappointed with The Chalk Man, Hex was the perfect spooky October audiobook.

The books I’ve bought in October

I didn’t buy a lot of books in October and I’m actually pretty proud of it!

Books bought in October

I’ve bought 2 thrillers with a book gift card I got from my old colleagues. They know me so well..

  • De Jongen in de Sneeuw (The Boy in the Headlights) – Samuel Bjork
  • Macbeth – Jo Nesbo

Macbeth was actually on my audiobook-TBR, but I also really wanted to read the book.. So maybe I’ll do both?
