Fall is my favorite season.. I love the beautiful colors of the autumn leaves, wearing cosy knitwear & ankle boots and reading a book with a blanket and a nice cup of tea.
When I found this book tag on BookTube, I thought it looked so fun and I wanted to fill it out myself! The tag was originally created by Sam’s Nonsense.
Let’s get started!
The world is full of color. Choose a book that has reds, oranges, and yellows on the cover.
Last month I wrote a post about my autumn colored books on my shelf; Sunday Shelfie – Autumn Colors
And for this question, I’m going to go with a new book that isn’t featured in my Sunday Shelfie post! The Bird and the Blade by Megan Bannen. I love the wonderful red color of the feathers and the orange/yellow-ish dots on the cover.
It’s finally cold enough to don warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies.
A series that will always make me happy is Harry Potter. I know this isn’t an original answer, but it’s true. Every winter my Boyfriend and I re-watch the movies and the books are the only books I have ever re-read. The Wizarding World is just a really warm and fussy place to get lost in.
The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy day.
Cool Crisp Air
Who’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?
Donatella from Caraval. She is such a badass. She’s clever, sassy and she has this thing (kind of) with the hot and sarcastic guy. And, of course, she is invited to Caraval. I would love to participate in Caraval! It sounds like such a magical and wonderful adventure.
Hot Apple Cider
What under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
The Sovereign series by Josie Jaffrey. I’ve read The Gilded King and Josie gave me an e-ARC of The Silver Queen. The world building in The Gilded King was amazing and I think this is a brilliant dystopian vampire novel.
Coats, Scarves, and Mittens
The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
I don’t know.. I’m not actually ashamed of any of my books.
What’s your favorite fall time comfort food/foods?
I adore a cup of tea and some apple pie. And yes, I totally bought myself an apple pie so I could take a picture of it. Book blogging is the best!
