I can’t believe it’s December 28th already! 2019 is just around the corner, so I thought this would be a good time to look back on the wonderful books I’ve read this year and to plan ahead on what I want to read in the new year.
Let’s get started!
1 // Three BEST books you read in 2018 (all 5 Stars)
This tag begins with one of the hardest questions.. I have read so many amazing books this year and to only choose 3.. But here it goes!
- Hangman – Daniel Cole
An addictive and unique thriller.
- Legendary – Stephanie Garber
A wonderful book to get lost in.
- Sadie – Courtney Summers
A strong and powerful book and the first novel to make me cry.
2 // Did you have any books that were #DNF ? Which ones?
Unfortunately, yes. I did not finish reading Beast; A Tale of Love and Revenge by Lisa Jensen. It just wasn’t the story I was expecting and I decided to stop reading it at about 40%.
I also didn’t finish reading A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews. I’ve read a lot of positive things about this book, but for me the story was tough to get into and I stopped reading at 50%.
3 // What are your three most anticipated books of 2019?
- An Anonymous Girl – Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen
I’m currently reading an e-ARC of this thriller and it is impossible to put down..
- The Binding – Bridget Collins
- The Dollmaker – Nina Allan
4 // Have you completed your personal reading challenge? If so, what are you reading now till the end of the year?
Yes I have! I challenged myself to read 52 books in 2018, one for each week, and I’ve read a total of 60!
I’m currently reading An Anonymous Girl. I decided to read one of my e-ARC’s before the end of the year. This thriller will be published on January 8, 2019.
5 // What genre did you read this year that you hope to read more in 2019?
6 // How’s your reading list for 2019?
I’ve bought a lot of books this year (that feels like an understatement..) and I hope to read those in 2019. Also I still have 8 e-ARC’s on my TBR. I can’t wait for a new year with new wonderful books!
